We stumbled upon Carlota after a fun day in NYC, and I knew it had to be something special just by looking around at the colorful, happy mix of people eating tapas, sipping pitchers of sangria and enjoying cocktails outside with the beautiful weather! I’m sorry……I’m done! This place is SOOOOOOOOO good it guest. Without any awareness I was a reviewer, the team ladled me with super-interesting conversation. Head chef Richard happened to pass through the restaurant with a basket of very special-looking potatoes that had been baked in a salt bath for two hours before they were headed to the kitchen to be peeled and cubed ready to make the world’s best patatas bravas.
