I’ve had Dr Ramirez as my primary doctor for seven years. He is a great physician and us experienced, knowledgeable, and real caring with great diagnosis and remedy knowledge. For some time the front office was not responsive, but recently with change of staff, the service, ease of arranging appointments, sending referrals have improved greatly. Follow ups from the doctor’s office still need to be improved.Thank you very much Dr. Ramirez for your excellent care and great helps to me as a patient.
This was my first meeting with Dr Ramirez. He was very kind and considerate about my health history.
Dr. Ramirez doesn’t return phone calls, even phone calls that could relate to an emergency situation. Frequently, his office doesn’t answer the phone at all. In addition, Dr. Ramirez does not return phone calls to my drugstore when they request a refill. He seems to be too busy and doesn’t have time for his many patients. After over a year of unreturned telephone calls and seeming disinterest in me as a patient, I have switched to a different doctor. This is unfortunate because I actually like Dr. Ramirez as a person.
I've been with Dr. Ramirez since 2020 - at first he seemed great, but as time went on, things got worse. His front office workers are so rude and do not answer the phone at all. I had to wait weeks to get my prescriptions filled, and it was so stressful getting a hold of anyone. Finally I had to visit the office in person to get any kind of communication.
I started going to Dr. Carlos Ramirez about 10 years ago or so, when he was new to Monterey. He was gentle and caring, knowledgeable and informative. Over the years, as I go for yearly check ups or occasionally for attention to an illness, I notice him getting more hurried. He forgot my name, even Since the CoVid pandemic he seems to have opted for telephone assistance. It's hard to get an appointment. His staff are reluctant to engage, even to greet or make eye contact. His PA is good, but l prefer being seen by my doctor.Ev... read more
My husband and I both see Dr. Ramirez. As we are getting older, we needed a doctor that would be the our doc for the yearly review of how we were doing and as a hub for all the specialists we may end up needing in the future. Dr Ramirez listens and asks questions, never rushing our visit. I recommended him if you are needing a kind family doctor!
Dr. Ramirez is great. His office staff is horrible. Unfriendly, not helpful, and very rude.
The good Doctor takes time with me to review notes and discuss my concerns. He takes my opinions seriously and and I feel I am in good hands. Appointments are timely and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. I respect him and am grateful for his care.
Dr. Ramirez is an excellent doctor, as he is genuinely friendly, a good listener, offers excellent medical advice, and is thoroughly competent. I recommend him without reservation.
