Office is slow/IF !!! to respond to medical necessity
In my opinion, Dr. Peñaherrera is so blatantly apathetic about his patients, he is more likely to cause harm than to help them. He gaslit me about my previous diagnosis from another provider, and he ignored my concerns about new, relevant, debilitating symptoms. My “After Visit Summary” was completely fabricated. On multiple occasions I have reached out to the office manager to understand how this happened and ask for a referral elsewhere but am still being ignored after months of waiting. I do not recommend Dr. Penaherra to women. My first new patient visit with him he told me I was depressed based on my symptoms and didn’t do any labs. I told him I had already seen a psychiatrist to rule out depression and was still told I was depressed, which I wasn’t. My next visit was with a neurologist that ran many labs and also said I wasn’t depressed. Come to find out I have a B1 deficiency. It’s pathetic when a dr tells you you’re depressed when you aren’t and doesn’t even bother to run any test!
