I'm from Kansas. I have bad rheumatoid for over 20 years and moved to Michigan a few years back and because I was seronegative —he didn't believe me that I had RA at first (I was diagnosed at Mayo Clinic as a child) or that I could have osteoporosis because of my age. It wasn't until he saw my scans and fused joints he shut right up. He was the only rheumy in the area and he took me off of the only two meds that worked and wouldn't put me back on.
