Dr DeCastro was wonderful when my niece Taylor was diagnosed with cancer and during the 16 months of chemo maintenance always called her Sunshine but once Taylor’s cancer returned and was Leukemia that was ferocious, she said he would walk by her room on the 9th Floor and never speak. She told me he would look at her but never go in and console her. Really hurt her feelings!! Don’t ignore your patients when they have been told they can go home on hospice!!!
