Dr Fernandez-Del-Castillo is the best. What are the characteristics of the best? Knowledgeable. Well practiced with numerous procedures. Great diagnosis and patient plan to resolve your issues. Great listener. Empathetic and thorough. For me, Laparoscopic abdominal surgery was performed without complications and with quick recovery. Dr. Fernandez del Castillo saved my life. Even saying it out loud sounds dramatic. However, it is nonetheless true. I was transferred from my local hospital after an abnormal cat scan to Mass General Brighams -Boston. I had very little time to navigate what was happening and had very little indication on how life threatening and compromising to my intestines it was, until after the surgery was performed.
