I received a replacement pacemaker with Keiser medicare advantage after 10 years with a Medtronic device. I was expecting a smaller device and now have one larger than before and a lead protruding from my chest in front of device. It's ugly and easily bumped causing pain and cannot wear a seat belt. No follow up with surgeon or a cardiologist.
Maybe good at his job but has an awful bedside manner. He tends to speak fast and when I coukdnt keep up he got exasperated and annoyed. My husband was having heart surgery and I was obviously stressed and co corned and he ridiculed me and told me I was being silly and I was to wash away my fears and stop thinking negative thoughts. Rude condescending and very unkind to me about my concern. Totally unsympathetic. He was more interested in rubbing it in that my husband was finished being in surgery and I had to leave it that.... read more
