Doctor is amazing! Made the pre op of my surgery comfortable. Though I’m giving three stars because I was told by the hospital that my medicine was going to be sent in by the office staff. Never was call the office the lady I spoke to said well take it over the counter. Look lady unless you’ve had a surgery like mine don’t ever tell a patient to take it over the counter. Learn some bed side manners and be mindful if you can you’re in the wrong job field.
Dr. Barba, was truely amaing with my care, his bedside manner was excellent. Although my surgery did not go as planned. And my recovery time changed from a few days to weeks. Dr. Barba was great in providing me step by step of what was expected in the days to come for recovery. I ended up 5 days in the hospital, and both Dr. Barba & Hector, PA would come by and see me by the end of each day, for and update on my status, made me feel at ease. The staff at HMC were excellent. Still in recovery but I feel so much better.
In Harlingen Memorial Hospital for 5 days for stomach problems and NEVER saw this doctor. He was on my chart tho? 5 days with no food or care!
