Had a stickpin converted to a pendant, and it's beautiful. Owners, and staff are delightful. I will definitely be back!!!
Carlisle & Linny is my go-to shop whenever I’m looking for gifts for the special people in my life. The inventory is fabulous, represents many decades, and changes frequently, so I never leave empty-handed no matter who I’m shopping for. The owner, Lindsley, and the shop manager, Tam, are both friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient about showing me things in the cases, too. This little shop is truly a treasure and worth my trip to downtown Hillsborough all by itself!
Almost bought something there however the owner was so rude I walked out. I understand that the jewelry is vintage and it needs to be handled with care but she may not want to tell someone to stop touching something they were getting ready to purchase.
Had a wonderful experience in this store - such kind and attentive service, and Lindsley is really knowledgeable about her selection. A treasure trove of beautiful pieces. Will be going back ASAP.
