We had a great stay at the Carlisle House Inn. Room was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed, daily housekeeping and a great continental breakfast every morning. Location was perfect with an easy walk in to town. Hoping to be back to stay again in the near future.
I have zero complaints other than the fact that there aren’t any curtains or anything to block the sunlight on any of the windows. We stayed in a really great room, the Nantucket Suite, with a beautiful little patio but the room was SO bright. So for us, it was kind of a disappointment not being able to sleep in at all during our stay. We have a 2 year old so yeah, we wanted to be able to sleep past our normal early wake up time. So, if you choose to stay here, bring something of your own if you want to sleep in past 5:30am.
ADORABLE and clean hotel within perfect walking distance of downtown! The owner is amazing and sets up a great breakfast, fruit flavored water, and cookies. You can enjoy s'mores at night by the fire and will wake up to birds chirping -- it's a quiet neighborhood. Beyond peaceful and the perfect place to stay!
Had a great night here and would recommend for anyone staying in Nantucket
We loved Carlisle House! The inkeeper and her staff were friendly, helpful, thoughtful and kind. The Inn was decorated with attention to detail and breakfasts were delicious. It is in a very convenient location and we were able to easily walk to many places. We would definitely recommend Carlisle House and plan to return!
