ADORABLE and clean hotel within perfect walking distance of downtown! The owner is amazing and sets up a great breakfast, fruit flavored water, and cookies. You can enjoy s'mores at night by the fire and will wake up to birds chirping -- it's a quiet neighborhood. Beyond peaceful and the perfect place to stay!

We loved Carlisle House! The inkeeper and her staff were friendly, helpful, thoughtful and kind. The Inn was decorated with attention to detail and breakfasts were delicious. It is in a very convenient location and we were able to easily walk to many places. We would definitely recommend Carlisle House and plan to return!
The Carlisle House Inn is a beautiful, amazing and convenient place to stay on Nantucket. My daughter, granddaughter and I went there for a Mother's Day getaway weekend to visit friends from the Island. The host and help couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. The special touches added to the charm of this Inn. My wife and I had the good fortune to stay this past weekend at the Carlisle House on Nantucket Island. The rate was very fair and the house is a very short walk from the downtown shops and restaurants. We had rented a car and parking on the street was simple although I don’t know what it is like at the height of the season. Jeneane met us upon arriving and showed us upstairs to our room.
