Our third year here because it is so good! Rooms are gorgeous, location couldn't be better (very close to town and ferry but super quiet) and staff are warm, super helpful and lovely! Thanks so much once again!!

On several occasions during July and August, I had the pleasant experience to enjoy staying at the Carlisle House Inn. The staff were exceptional and made you feel at home. The rooms were uniquely appointed. They were homey, clean and quite comfortable. Each room had its own personality . Staying here was an absolute pleasure! The owner Jeneane and her staff were absolutely awesome. My wife and I stayed with our 3 kids in the Nantucket Suite which worked great for us. The room was beautifully decorated and I have to say the beds were more comfortable than any other hotel/Inn we have stayed at. We had some rain but the staff provided us will umbrellas to use. Oh gosh. Such high hopes for this place that I stayed at 20 years ago. The innkeeper, Susan, at that time was so sweet. Such a disappointing conversation with the inn keeper, Jeanine, over the phone. When simply inquiring about our upcoming stay and the current hurricane/ tropical storm and if it would be a possibility to consider a change in weekends, she was blunt and rude and stated, “We are running a business.
