Cozy bed and breakfast right in the heart of town for a great price. Room was charming and comfortable, and anything you could need is within walking distance. The staff was incredibly kind and the service was exceptional. I needed to leave before they usually serve breakfast and they opened up the dining room an hour early to serve a meal prepared just for me. It was still freshly served hot food that tasted delightful, too. Absolutely recommend this place!

We spent a lovely weekend in Nantucket with our son and his fiancee and had a wonderful stay at the Carlisle House Inn. The host was so kind, and the rooms were beautiful and so comfortable, bright and airy. The breakfast was delicious (we loved the scones!). The location is convenient to town and we will definitely return.

Quant old building with all the upgraded amenities. The breakfast was delicious both days! Loved the environment, and the AC worked wonderfully for the extremely hot days in Carlisle. We stayed in the Penn Suite on the top floor, and we had to climb some old stairs, but we got a great workout. You truly get to see some wonderful character of this old building. All the amenities in the kitchen worked, and it even had a washer and dryer. It was always quiet, and you came and went as needed. Sometimes it was hard to find an emp... read more
