There was invasive plants planted outside of my home prior to us moving in. Throughout the course of our time living there we had multiple issues caused by the ivy. It was growing through our floor boards and through the window panes knocking the window off track. They had to caulk the floor boards to stop it from coming in. We lived in a Young Hall. Part of our amenities/home is storage that is located in the same exact building, directly below our unit, was infested with mold. It covered our boxes, our belongings, the wall, etc. The mold stemmed from a pool that gathered directly above on the balcony. The pool occurred each time it rained because the gutters directly above it were always clogged. The clogged gutters and pool had several complaints. Worst construction for a residential community initiative build I’ve seen in over 20 years of service. Homes are way too small for LTC/COL families and only look nice from the outside. No fenced yard, not allowed to have trampolines, and zero storage. Would have changed our decision if we would have known and lived off post in a beautiful local PA home. Customer service with Baulfor Betty is fine as they can’t do anything about the quality of these homes. Full BAH off post would get you a massive, well constructed home.
