I had called the office (my daughter and I had been patients here for roughly 5 years) to see about getting her an interim appointment for her mental health situation. If I could rate lower I would. This place...I have no idea how it's a 5 it must be employees friends and family giving ratings. Please do not go here or take loved ones here. They repeatedly drop the ball with health care, documentation and communication. They do not listen to patients and do not follow through on promised actions, and are blatantly uncaring, especially the carlinville office. I am in the process of finding a new physician and urging my friends and family to avoid any of their facilities.

They have an amazing support staff. The Nurses are friendly, caring and very helpful. The Doctor's are caring, compassionate, and very knowledgeable.
I recently switched to this medical office and am highly impressed with all the staff, especially my new doctor, Harald Lausen, OD. He took a great amount of time with me to get my history, and then called me himself with my lab results and we had a great discussion about next steps. This is the first time a doctor himself called to give lab results and discuss a plan vs. a doctor's nurse. I am at age where coordinated healthcare is really important and I think Dr. Lausen is the right provider to lead and coordinate my care.... read more
