I have also experienced very poor care at the IBD Center. I have moderate Crohn's disease and some other complications and the whole process with them lacks coordination and the communication is non existent. I had to tell them what to do in many circumstances and then fight for myself time and time again to get routine services. They would lose information, ask me the same simple questions over and over, and were late numerous times on sending scripts or ordering tests. Was referred there by another Dr. The whole experience was terrible. It took them 3 weeks to enter my info into their system. The Dr was rude, apathetic and insulting. Both he and the nursing staff said they have too many patients. It's taken as long as a week for them to even open a message. I soon learned that you'll never get the doctor nor the nurse to call you back. They're saturated with patients and shouldn't be accepting new ones.
