This review applies to the produce section only. I shop for my 90 year old mother and she eats a lot of fruit. Today 4/6/2026 , I shopped at the Erwin location as I live right down the street, and I have never seen the produce look so badly. The green grapes were browning in the bag. There were no bags of Gala apple available and the loose ones had brown spots on may of them. Many of the bananas appeared too ripe for sale. I have never seen it this bad. I was so disappointed because this is my favorite local store.
I've worked for the McLamb family for almost five years. They are kind, caring, and a quality family who does a lot for all the communities they serve in a very quiet way. I am grateful for the kindness and patience they have given me over all these years and I continue to work here because I believe in their mission.
