1st issue: Had my Wisdom Teeth taken out here, I informed the Doctor I do not do well under anesthesia and was not comfortable being put under for the surgery. So many errors on Carle’s end after double booking my appointment. Wasted two hours driving and my entire afternoon. I was also told that I can contact IT myself if I want to get the issue resolved with their system not correctly sending me information.
This place is a joke. Waiting for a patient who was taken to pre-op almost 3 hours ago, they never contacted me to come sit with them. When I finally inquired I was told they were just taken back for surgery. Many complaints about this place over the years. Steer clear if you can.
Tried getting an appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction. Was sent a referral to my dentist, who sent it back. Today, no one answers the phone and told they don't have open enrollment until May. I cannot wait until May, but wait, it's for Champaign residents only. Why send the referral if you knew we were driving 3 hours away? I have no idea how I'm going to get my wisdom tooth out, if it doesn't kill me first. Do not go here.
I have had three operations there and the staff really took great care of me. They were very kind and compassionate and explained every step of the procedures to me in a way that I could understand.
