Seems like they say that want to do something and then you don't hear anything you call there and get rude people that say they will call you when it gets done but how long do you actually have to wait when you get referred here and they make you feel like you need to not call them
Terrible experience. Nurses and doctor didn’t take my or my sister’s symptoms seriously. Chalked up passing out and nausea to anxiety. Nurse said that sometimes they don’t even test people for PoTS or similar disorders if they think the patient is tense because that’s “probably all it is”. She told my sister that a severe drop in blood pressure and heart rate is “normal” for people our age despite her gasping for air and nearly throwing up while losing consciousness in front of her. I brought my elderly father with CHF who is on Lasix to an appointment today. He can barely walk so I dropped him off while I parked. We drive 30 mins for the appointment and were 2 mins late. When I got inside I saw he was walking towards the bathroom. I waited in the waiting area and they called his name. When I told the lady he was in the bathroom she rolled her eyes and walked away. After a test result came back indicating follow-up tests needed to be run, they were not. Instead, the cardiologist said to double down on medication. After getting a second opinion, followed by an angiogram, a problem was found and it required a cardiac MRI to see it. Carle refused to do the MRI because my chart erroneously stated that I had multiple devices in my chest, which I have none. While admitting fault, Carle had no answers for how to fix my chart.
