Took forever to schedule an appointment because different receptionists kept telling me different things. (“Oh someone will call you back to schedule it”!) I will not say what day I was finally scheduled because I don’t want retaliation. When I was seen, doctor did not seem to care about environmental factors that contribute to my heart issues and also assumed I have the money to pay for all sorts of things. Felt like we were having an argument. I would recommend avoiding this place. Plus, parking is strange.
Arrived at Carle heart and vascular institute in Urbana. Checked in and sat in the lobby. Went and got vitals, went back to lobby for another couple of minutes then was brought back to an exam room. Dr Brener enters shortly after, asks what she can do for me today. I start explaining my symptoms and how nausea is the worst for me. She stops me and says “I am a heart doctor, so tell me about what I can do for your heart today.” I am caught off guard by this so I didn’t get to read any of my other symptoms to her from my list.... read more
Seems like they say that want to do something and then you don't hear anything you call there and get rude people that say they will call you when it gets done but how long do you actually have to wait when you get referred here and they make you feel like you need to not call them
