I saw Dr. Mazzeo for many years. She was extremely helpful as I was trying to find greater self-knowledge and confidence in my own path. However, when I had a medical crisis she was unhelpful. She was very focused on finding a reason I had been struck by what is an incredibly rare and poorly understood disease. I was scared and depressed and found little help from her on how to navigate what was happening. I was able to find someone else who specializes in trauma and would not return to Dr. Mazzeo.
