My only visit with this physician was because it was a re-emerging issue I was awaiting surgery on with a fellow provider in the practice. She didn't knock before entering the room, failed to adequately take into account my pain when I warned her of my physical sensitivities upon examination. Additionally, was haughty in the way she reacted to my knowledge of my own condition. Carla Desantis delivered my first baby when I was 18 and was nothing but judgmental, racist, and refused to listen to my wishes despite there being no medical reason for an episiotomy. I genuinely can’t believe she is still practicing, and hope she is no longer delivering babies. If she is on call when you go into labor, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I wish I did, it would’ve saved me years of therapy.

I have had Dr. DeSantis as my primary doctor at this practice for many years. She is an excellent Dr who gives you her full attention and takes very good care of your health needs. Very personable.

Doesn't answer the phone to figure out appointments not immediately the person who does and they don't know what a procedure stands for otherwise
