If you want a Customer Service Job that will add tremendous stress to your life, if you enjoy a toxic workplace, then Zeiss Vision is the place for you. Terrible management who continually change the rules. You are under constant threat of being fired under an unfair attendance policy that seems to apply based on who you are. You can rarely get off for a doctor's appointment, even if you have the time. There is a reason why people seem to regularly walk out and don't come back.

Customer service made it very clear to me today that Zeiss doesn't care about the customer and only the bottom line. As a professional ornithologist I've been using my Zeiss binoculars for almost a decade - priced well over $1,000, they were the biggest investment of my life when I bought them as a struggling field biologist. I made the purchase believing that Zeiss had my back and if anything were to malfunction or degrade over time they would stand by my investment and make it right. Went to an authorized Zeiss facility in Raleigh NC and ordered a pair of progressive glass lenses. The technician said I was only the second pair he had ever ordered in over 40 years. He placed the ocular center for my lens about a 1/4 of an inch from the top of the lens which is way above where the center of my pupil is. I told him I was getting real glass because I was hoping that it would improve my billiard play. He said that adjusting the ocular center would give me better vision in the two to 12 foot range. This place has a hostel working environment and literally a poisonous aptomispher to breathe, plastic particles floating in the air and lead/cadmium water that your hands are in, Carl Zeiss has been busted by the EPA for releasing that poisonous water down the drain and into our water ways. This place gets a NO STAR rating !
