The hamburger was delicious.
The highlight of Carl's Drive-In is the old school counter-service diner nostalgia. The food is exactly what you expect, serving up frosty root beer, shakes, fried sides, and smash burgers. It's a cute place with fairly average quality no-frills food for a very reasonable price. Every time I've been the service is great In the winter time, be prepared for a strong grease smell that lingers on your clothes afterwards. This doesn't seem to be an issue in the summer time when the air conditioning is running.
