I'm a little late on this review but good news and good reviews are not limited to time frames so here goes! My right shoulder had been severely damaged three times and repaired the first two times with decreasing effectiveness. The final injury was the final straw and I reached out to HSS in Stamford for a referral as my wife has used the doctors at the facility for her first knee replacement and had an excellent experience with the HSS doctors and the Stamford Hospital location. I had total left shoulder replacement surgery in June 2024. The entire process was from diagnosis through surgery (pre & post) included was nothing but excellent. I actually told Dr. Carl Cirino that I made to read all of the post-op summaries to make sure I could telll the surgery had been performed. I had absolutely no pain, ever and was off of pain medication after 1.5 days. I highly recommend to anyone considering a shoulder replacement, speak with Dr. Cirino.
Dr. Cirino made the unpleasant experience of needing clavicle surgery bearable. I knew I was in the best professional hands as well as having a surgeon and staff that are approachable at all levels. Thanks again, Dr. Cirino.
Five stars are not enough for Dr. Cirino. His surgical skills were able to repair my seriously damaged right shoulder and send me back onto the tennis court where I am now serving aces. He receives my highest recommendation.
