Had total knee replacement with him and he'll be doing a hip replacement for me in a few weeks. Eagle-eyed surgeon, caring doctor, informative and runs a quick, tight office. Can't recommend highly enough.
I had my initial visti with Dr Herndon. He explaines very clearly the need for my hip surgery. He answered all of our concerns & questions xlearly as well. I would recommend him.
I saw Dr. Herndon for a second opinion regarding knee pain. After After looking at X-rays, watching me walk up and down the corridor, and moving my joints, he told me he thought my problem was my hip, not my knee. The first doctor I went to for knee pain looked only at my knee. Dr Herndon looked at the bigger picture. i am so glad that I went for a second opinion. I thought he was much more thorough in diagnosing the problem and would highly recommend him.

Dr. Herndon is terrific. He was always attentive and responsive to my needs and questions. He did a wonderful Left Hip Replacement just over two years ago. My mobility is excellent, and my second annual s/p surgery f/u showed that everything was just as it should be and I don’t need any further follow-ups.I highly recommend him.
