If you don’t have Medicaid do not go to this place. They don’t accept any private insurance. Also their billing department does very very shitty jobs, didn’t send right amount of bills to my insurance also never sent me a copy of bills. And the doctor did some works on my kid without my permission, I mean, they are just doing extra work then they can charge me more money. Anyway, just don’t pick this place.
We’ve been bringing our kids to Dr. Trout for a little over 10 years and I can honestly say he and his staff are exceptional. From the beginning when our son was a toddler and our daughter was just an infant, we’ve been continually impressed with the level of care, attention to detail, and genuine kindness we’ve experienced here. Our 3 kiddos have been going to Dr. Trout for the past 8 years. Everyone from the receptionists to the dental assistants to Dr. Trout is extremely knowledgeable, kind and go above and beyond for any procedures or cleanings we have ever had!
Wasn’t told of any major problems until he decided to actually xray my child’s teeth, then was hit with a lot of work that needed to be done with thousands of dollars, due to his recommendation to anthesthetize vs numb her up and get it done. I had waited and waited for an insurance approval callback, and by that time had insurance changes. I rescheduled, the couldn’t get me in for 4 or more months. I thought someone might cancel, nope. We went to Dr Trout for my son who needed quite a bit of work done as a result of a prior medical issue. Some of the work that needed to be done was time sensitive and this was communicated to the office. We were seen early July. I was told I would receive a call back within the next week or so once they got the insurance approval back. It is now the 1st week of August, and I have not received a call back to even get the appointment scheduled.
