While the East Hampton location of Carissa’s offers the expected excellent food, its highly irregular hours mean it is frequently overcrowded when open, particularly with Jitney crowds. That said, I prefer both this location and the Sag Harbor branch because the staff members are consistently welcoming, which unfortunately contrasts sharply with the Amagansett location.
