The food was great, the service was good. I like Carino's much better than Olive Garden, the Chicken Parmigiana is much meatier, tons of sauce, and good portion sizes. The Lasagna is excellent. I would very much recommend the sampler platter. The prices are a little higher than Olive Garden, but you get more and the taste is much better, so worth it overall. If you are a little budget conscious then go to Carino's on Monday or Tuesday night for family night and get Family size platters for the price of a single portion size.... read more
Have been to Carino's three times now and each time am disappointed in flavor. The food looks delicious and sounds great on the ads and in the menu, but I have literally eaten more flavorful mac and cheese out of boxes than in their $12 pastas
My family decided to go to Johnny Carino's for my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. Never in my life have I had such horrible service. We were choosing between Rock Creek Restaurant and Johnny Carino's and decided to give Carino's our service. My mother ordered coffee and didn't receive it until she was half way through with her meal. Two of the men ordered beers that sat on the bar for a long time and were warm once served. amazing country italian – WE recently visited this restaurant and found a variety of great things. From the food to the service we enjoyed every part about it. It has a great feel for every type of event at a good price. The dessert is excellent too!!!!
