Great Feline Vets I have been taking my cats to Caring for Cats for years for both routine physicals and when they have been very ill. Dr. Arnold is phenomenal! The office is very clean and the staff is patient, helpful, and friendly. The office is also well-staffed. Prices are very good.

excellent cats only vet I have been going to caring for cats since about 2005. I have seen both Dr. Arnold and Dr. Hartman. When I go to the vet, I am looking for top quality care at a fair price. The vets are cognizant that not everyone has a lot of money, and provide alternative suggestions for care. A note on style: these women are in a business, they should not be expected to take a loss because a cat owner can't afford care for a sick cat. I am aware Dr. Arnold does charity work when a house overloaded with sick or dyin... read more

Do NOT see Dr. Hartman Caring for Cats takes good care of the cats, but I would NOT recommend seeing Dr. Hartman. She's cold, seems to be uncaring, and unfriendly to the point of rudeness. I will never see her again. I hear Dr. Arnold is great, so my next appt is with her. If I'm not happy with her, I will be taking my cat to another vet without a doubt.

Horrible place to take your cats! This is a horrible place to go if you want your cat to be treated well. We brought our cat that was very very sick there because someone told us that that was the place to go. Bad choice! The poor kitten had to be put to sleep and they treated her like she was a rag doll. They didn't even let us say goodbye and as we were leaving in tears, they didn't even have the respect to close the door as they were putting her to sleep so everyone in the waiting area including me could hear the poor kit... read more

Dr. Arnold is an angel! Dr. Betsy Arnold is one of the most caring and compassionate person I know. I recently lost my 6 month old Siamese Tinkerbell, and Betsy did everything in her power to help her in every way possible. Dr. Arnold went far beyond the limits trying to save my baby. Pam was wonderful and genuinely concerned for me and my pet. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. I live 85 miles from Rochester, but it is very much worth the trip for the care my pet receives there. I greatly appreciate everything they did ... read more

Very pleased with every part of my visit I took my cat here for the first time this morning. I had read the reviews before going and was wondering about Dr. Hartman (red haired vet) since she is who my appt was with. Many reviewers didn't care for her. I found her to be respectful and efficient. She was thorough and asked good questions and did not treat Luna roughly. She was how I would want a vet to be. I don't need someone to coddle my cat - I do that enough for everyone. I want her to find the issue in as little time as ... read more

The Best Recently my boy Jasper was having some liver enzyme issues. Dr. Arnold put him on medication and it worked the first time but not the second time. I was quite worried and she said that there was a fairly simple test that could be done right in the office to see if his liver was functioning properly. He had the procedure done on February 1st and the blood draws had to go to Texas for processing. Dr. Arnold said the results would be back in a week and she also drew blood to test his pancreatic function. She was so kin... read more

Excellent staff and service After years of owning cats and visiting other local veterinarians, Caring For Cats continues to be our favorite. Dr. Arnold is extremely knowledgeable with any problem or illness our cats have experienced, and the staff is helpful and caring. Prices are reasonable and fair, and appointments are kept on schedule with no long waits that I have experienced over the years.
