When my kids first started talkin' about The Addison of Durham, I just kinda nodded along. Figured they were gettin' ahead of themselves. Movin' into a place like this? My parent lived at The Addison of Durham during their final years, and though they have since passed, I will always be grateful for the incredible care and compassion they received there. I have enjoyed my time working here as an employee. It’s a family like environment, management staff works well together to make sure all needs of residents and families are addressed promptly. It’s truly a home away from home .
Hi I would love to rate this place a zero because I went to visit my grandma and while I was visiting my grandma, I heard the kitchen director cussing out the residents during lunch time. She’s extremely rude and I don’t feel comfortable with my grandma staying here with someone as rude as her.
LaToya Davis, the Director of the Memory Care area, is AWESOME! She has created a warm and welcoming environment for the residents and their families. She is a role model for her staff. They all treat the residents with respect and dignity. The Addison is very lucky to have such an engaged leader.
