For those of you who have received the difficult news requiring a repeat mammogram, followed by an ultrasound and then a biopsy, I understand the apprehension this may cause. For those considering postponing a mammogram, I strongly advise against it. I was fortunate to be in the capable hands of Dr. Jinoh Sandberg and her wonderful team. Have been here twice this year and it has been a positive experience (even though MRI is *not* fun!) Staff are always kind and helpful.
Ive never been treated so badly by a medical facility. I was demeaned and traumatized by the surgeon my Dr sent me to to have a biopsy done. I was so stressed it took me over a year to have another mamogram done and my questions were still not answered by the new report. It took me 2 months to work up the nerve to call and ask questions about the new mamogram. Im switching to Lewis Gale for next years mamogram.
The staff was nice and respectful. They helped in any way they possibly could!
