We had the most caring and comforting experience with Carilion Hospice. I'd have to say the best branch of the Carilion establishment. Once they took over our mothers care we were in amazing hands. All of the staff was very attentive immediately. She had a wonderful group of nurses, her massage therapist was amazing and put her at ease. The Chaplin's were wonderful with us, they were there as we needed and gave so much comfort. We have had such a wonderful experience with Carilion hospice. The nurses and other staff are so kind and knowledgeable. Merissa is always willing to answer our questions, and she goes above and beyond to help my family to understand disease processes, hospice's vision, all the while encouraging the family they are there to support their wishes. Dr. Tilly was very helpful when we spoke with him and took lots of time to answer our questions. Highly recommend!
