This is a great holiday place for families; conveniently located at the heart of Mooloolaba.
WOKEN AT MIDNIGHT FOR A FALSE FIRE ALARM—had to evacuate my whole family (including young children) onto the street. You are told at check-in that the smoke alarms are 'sensitive' and there are signs in the kitchen and bathroom to be mindful of smoke and steam as these could set off the alarm, and to close all doors when you are showering. They told me it was a faulty sensor in the basement that set off the whole establishment's alarms. Pools are outdoors and heated. Clean, spacious apartments. Warm service from the team.
Recently had a 3-night stay with the whole Mackay Stingers Dragon Boat Team (competition in Kawana) and we honestly cannot fault our stay. From the moment of check-in, right through until we checked out, everything was perfect....we could not have asked for better service. Very rude and abrupt on site manager, felt like i was at school camp being watched, some other reception staff were friendly but felt unwelcome by the on site manager as she was rude when asking questions and when checking in.
