Cool guy until he's paid off. Such a bad pool and he won't stand behind it. Terrible experience.
Shane is the nicest guy you'll meet; however, the pool had a lot of problems. Lots of water loss due to cracks in the first year. Drained pool and had cracks epoxy filled. Most of the tile popped off the first winter. Fixed at own expense. Remote system never worked. Auto ph system never worked. Pentair said that the systems installed were not compatible and would not ever work together. Had to throw that upgrade in the garbage. His wife will put the tile on for you. She comes half dressed as a distraction as she installs the tile all wrong. Ours fell off and a legit contractor started laughing when he saw it and said, "this has to be Shane Bandy's work ha ha ha." It's funny until you have to redo the tile for 2k... Of course he said it was out of warrantee and now he uses his new employee as a front so you can't contact him. Seriously! It was such a terrible experience using Shane. He seemed like a nice guy when I met him. He promised that my pool would be done in 5 weeks. He started in May and it wasn't done until August. Now there is a leak in my pool and I can't get him to fix it! He promises the world but can't deliver. Buyer beware!
When I think of what satan is like, I think of Shane Bandy. Charismatic, says it like you want to hear it, makes promises that he'll never keep, and then enjoys watching you suffer. We've had our pool for a few years and it's totally falling apart. We've called multiple times and he screens the calls.
