I have been doing Brazilian hard wood projects on all of my houses since 2002. As in source it, go get it, finish it, install it…. Typically, the product you get needs 40 grit, then 80 grit, then 120, etc. The Ipe from this company “maybe” can start at 120, but I suspect, I’ll start with 180 grit, then back down to 120 if I need to.
