I believe it’s a customer’s right to ask for clarification, and the service provider should be able to explain their diagnosis. Unfortunately, both of my experiences here were disappointing. A few months ago, I was told to replace rear brakes for $80 per side. I wasn’t convinced, got a second opinion, and the car drove eight more months before the brakes actually needed replacement.
