I bought a CARFAX Report on a 2000 Chevy that I bought only to find out that it had been almost totaled on one side. I also found out that the vehicle started out with the NY Dept of Transportation. I also found out that the truck had been wrecked in the rear end. If I had found out all of this before I bought the truck, I don't think I would have purchased it.
Was very impressed. Just bought a 1997 Jeep Wrangler, wanted to see the history. Always been in Colorado, I am the 6th owner, although two of the previous owners apper to be Dealers. No issues, no recalls outstanding, no accidents. Even listed me as the 6th owner even 'tho I had just registered it two days before.
