I decided to try seeing a counsellor after being burned out from a job and having long term depression for the last 7 years. Went to see Laura. To my surprise after a few sessions, I am no longer depressed and ready to tackle any challenges. Laura is caring and looks for strategies to help you find your way again. I have been doing EMDR with Charlene since last October, for PTSD due to a car accident. She has been amazing right from the start. She has a great knowledge and understanding of both Trauma and EMDR, but even more so you can tell she is very passionate about helping her clients. I started EMDR therapy with Charlene almost a year ago, and I have to say this was one of the best decisions of my life. After years of medication and other unsuccessful talk therapies, I was astonished at how quickly she was able to help me process and really let go of past trauma, trauma that was holding me back from living my full life.
