I work at the front desk at our dental office. We've been with Carestream for years but their customer service is severely lacking. I have been trying to change our acct to our new dentist and I emailed them to do this the first time. Their reply was that I needed to call them to either merge the accts or delete the old one. They told me that someone would call me back. Absolutely terrible customer service experience with Carestream Dental. My father is 80 years old, has retired, and is permanently closing his dental practice. We contacted Carestream to cancel services that the practice will no longer be able to use. Carestream is claiming that one of his subscriptions automatically renewed and that he is now obligated to continue paying through September 2027 because he supposedly missed a 60 day cancellation deadline. I have had the WORST experience wiht Soft-dent this past 3 weeks. I have not been able to get a return label for a defective X-ray unit and now they want me to pay a 20% restocking fee beforethey send me a return label. Let alone mention how I have not been able to speak to any one that can help me. They only give me emails and extensions of people who only care to sell me other items but not resolve my issue.

these guys are absolutely awful. of all the vendors I use for my dental office, Carestream has the worst customer service by far. They definitely don't answer their phones when you call and you're lucky if they get back to you within 7 days to be honest. Wouldn't use any of their products on the sheer basis of terrible customer support.

If it was possible to give negative stars, I would. Don’t waste your money on their extended warranties. They will find any excuse not to pay. I had a rvg6200 usb break. They declined the warranty stating that usb wasn’t covered. They’ll only cover it if the sensor dies. Guess what, the sensor won’t work without the usb. They want to sell me a new one! They’re a bureaucracy of crooks and incompetent. You get transferred multiple times before you can reach anyone but they don’t help you. All they do is apologize. Choose anoth... read more
