This place allows bullies to be volunteers. I’m harassed all the time by one of their volunteers, constantly making fun of my siblings who have their own substance issues but this volunteer is supposed to help people and be inspiring not a rude mean girl who thinks addiction is actually funny and even said my siblings should just die already. Don’t support this place, just look at who they choose to be an “inspiration to people who are looking to get sober.”
CARES is ran by people that are not certified to do the job with responsibilities that they have. They are not drug tested and fraternize with each as well as the addicts they are there to serve. They conduct social relations with the individuals they are suppose to be helping.
Everyone at cares is amazing and a lot of them are volunteering their time to support people suffering from any kind of addiction. There should be a place like this in every town and city.
