I recently visited CareRite Now and was very impressed. The staff welcomed me and made me comfortable. The check-in was quick, which I appreciated. The medical team was excellent! They listened to my concerns, did a thorough exam, and explained my condition and treatment clearly. I valued their professionalism and care. The facility was clean and organized. I was in and out quickly and left feeling much better. They made a stressful situation easier!
Floored! Just received my bill. $1,900 for an urgent care visit!!! Typical tests for strep, flu and covid. The kicker is the bill notes that the physican bills separate from the medical center (may cost even more). However they did not even send me an itemized bill. The overall service was not great either. It appears they bill as if they are an ER not an urgent care. In my opinion that is deceptive.
My 20 something year old daughter went in because she was very sick thought she had COVID or strep. They did two nose swabs, tested her blood pressure and pretty much that was it. They'd said they'd get back to her with how to treat it. Never returned a call. She received her results online. Received a bill for over $2,500. Yes, that was $490 for the doctor's bill and over $1,800 for lab tests. They bill as though it was a hospital visit since they are associated with New Bridge Medical Center and not an urgent care.
