CareNow in general is dangerous. They don’t know what they’re doing, they don’t stand behind their mistakes, and they don’t care about kids or families. If you value your child’s safety, do NOT go to CareNow. CareNow put my 5-year-old through hell. They glued his eyebrow shut when he clearly needed stitches. He kept bleeding, and the next day, their own staff admitted we needed to go to a proper ER. At Texas Children’s Hospital, doctors had to sedate my son for 45 minutes!!! to rip off that glue, and later stitch him up prop... read more
The place is unprofessional, to say the least some are helpful, the Drs don't listen to you as patient they don't research before speaking on things... Very rude
FIX YOUR TIME ESTIMATE PAGE !!!! It tells me 8:39... then I get a text at 8:24 saying "you missed your appointment & need to reschedule". That's ridiculous!! Then I rush over & pulled up at 8:28, and they don't let me go next, they put someone else that was still waiting in the lobby ahead of me... Now I'm sitting here, waiting like an idiot, while I'm very very sick... just outrageous. Don't send a "see your place in line" link that doesn't work!!
I visited the CareNow ~ Richardson location Saturday morning due to a diverticulitis flare up. Provider, Michael Hellemn denied me medication (antibiotics) for said flare up. He stated that there was a "study" that antibiotics for diverticulitis was like giving "jelly beans" to patients and that taking meds for a flare up was basically useless. He stated that if he prescribed me antibiotics that he would be vulnerable to a lawsuit. I asked his if this was a Carenow policy and never answered, but instead went around the quest... read more
I have concerns of why did i get a email & txt stating that I had visited the clinic on April 2, 2025 when I didn’t…??? When I called the uptown location to see what was going on she questioned me about a visit I had at another care now clinic on March 17, 2025…why???
