I find it terribly infuriating to have medical facilities impose name changes on patients after mergers or buy outs. I’ve been with CareMount since it was MtKiscoMedialGroup (MKMG) then CareMount. Now it’s optum! These business transactions are a reminder of the business model that should not exist within healthcare. What a disgrace. Keep patients out if your business decisions & quit changing office names! Optum is awful! No patient care at all!!!
So i’m about to go to my radiology appt at 9:30am, and they call me at 8:52am telling me that the technologist didn’t show up and they need to reschedule my appt. Mind u i took a day off from work. So u mean to tell me u don’t have a backup? I have no words. Caremount is just sinking further and further. Every time i have an appt there is always some kind of issue. Either the nurse doesn’t send correct scripts or the internal medicine doctor is not educated enough on certain diseases, has no clue. Does not refer u to special... read more
