I am extremely disappointed with how this pediatrician’s office handled my daughter’s care. I had an appointment scheduled for her, and the office canceled it and refused to even see her because she is behind on some of her vaccinations. My daughter has PFAPA, an autoinflammatory condition that causes recurrent high fevers and requires ongoing medical care. This should be zero stars. I had an eye appointment with Dr. Desai. I was told at check-in that they only check healthy eyes. I needed an updated prescription for contacts and eyeglasses. I was told that’s 2 problems they don’t deal with or have the capability to deal with. I clearly stated when I made the appointment that I needed contacts and eyeglasses. My husband waited a month for an appointment with the elbow specialist, the day before his appointment they cancelled and wanted to reschedule an entire month later in Bedford. Shame on Optum.
