About 3 wks ago; Went in for behavioral health issue, (Depression)at the suggestion of my nurse friend. Thinking the Dr. would prescribe an antidepressant to get me through this time of year,(Holiday )and be off. I was seen by Primary Care Dr.,told I’d be referred to Behavioral Health. Well ; I m still waiting. It’s been over 3 wks! I was told it would take about a week for approval. I either got over looked, denied or forgotten! I still have not received anything in the mail. Can not always receive a timely response and have to go through a phone service before being able to talk with office.
Will be reporting the NP Silvia Nicholson for negligence.
They have a great program called Nifty after Fifty. They have a series of eight resistance exercise machines. They also have training classes for balance and regular exercise programs for groups. There is also a physical therapy site, by appointment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is all part of the Amerigroup Health System.
