All in all it’s not bad for a free clinic. The providers themselves are amazing however, I am a type 1 diabetic so I see an endocrinologist for that. I don’t go to the doctor much otherwise. That being said I have been coming to the clinic to get my A1c since being diagnosed in 2017. Other than being pregnant twice since then (your diabetic care goes to your OB at that point). Edit/update: While I was to be a patient, someone as poorly-trained in customer care and comprehension as Mindy make it impossible. Disgusting and uninformed, she approaches patients as though they are uneducated. Comments and actions she made toward me merit a formal complaint, which will happen. My initial consultation with a new doctor for me was great. Very caring and efficient. However, I was told to fast so lab work could be done- but when I arrived, the nurse who does the work doesn’t work on Wednesdays- so I’ll have to come back (and fast) again. Also, gotta be honest- the exam room I was in was filthy. The floor hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and there appeared to be dead bugs along the wall.
