There are no signs advising that they don’t process pre authorization in the Castroville Office. The staff does not understand their own processes and I ended up getting the run around before switching to a new doctor. I called multiple times for weeks and was not informed that the office doesn’t do pre-authorizations, but rather that they needed to talk to their manager. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE! I called and got an appointment and left work early to be there. I was 15 minutes early and they called 5 minutes before my apt to reschedule because the doctor decided to leave early. WOW could they be any more unprofessional?!?!
I made an appointment for my husband to been seen on 3/22/24 at 9am at the Castroville location. We get there at 8:45 and the door is locked, we wait until 9:10 and nothing. I called and the lady that made us the appointment answered and said they were probably on their way so she put me on hold. She came back on the line and said she apologized but they didn’t have a provider at that location and asked if I wanted to reschedule.
