I contacted the owner Ryan, about my concern. Being a diabetic i have gain Stage 3 kidney failure. Contacting Ryan and saying that i have this health issue,,which is not good. Lots of treatments ahead i told him. I asked about being released out of my membership and he flat said no. I have 5 months left and to bad. He pretty much said he didnt care. I am new to boating as I have recently retired. Carefree Boat Club has added a new layer of excitement, Leisure, education, And just plain old Fun For myselfand my partner’s lives. I have had a couple of little issues and they were immediately addressed To my complete satisfaction. This was my first solo trip out of the Carefree Port Orange location. Luca is very detailed including verified I was familiar with the safety equipment, along with the features and functions of the Starcraft Pontoon boat. I was very confident in leaving the dock area, no wake area, through the river trip, and return. I am already looking forward to the next trip!
I enjoyed my session with Dustin Saturday afternoon to learn the basics of piloting a Carolina Skiff from the Carefree Boat Club, Port Orange location out to the Intercostal Waterway and the return. His familiarity with the boat, including safety equipment and features provided me confidence I can navigate solo, or with a group of guests. I look forward to the year ahead and beyond, growing my membership experience with CBC!
