This has been our second year as members with Carefree Boat Club in Boothbay Harbor. We could not be happier! The location lends itself to some of the most scenic boating I've ever experienced. This season we logged hundreds and hundreds of ocean miles and loved every minute of it. Ed (the owner) is a fantastic person to deal with. Carefree boat club has changed my life. I have access to high quality, impeccably maintained, and clean boats. Zero stress of maintenance, slip fees, and winter storage. The dock personnel assist and answer all questions you may have regarding safety equipment and general operations of the vessels. I have found the owner to be honest and forthright regarding all the business and contractual matters. Thank you Carefree Boat Club!
Wow the Carefree Boat Club in Boothbay Harbor is incredible!. We were visiting from Virginia and did a reciprocal reservation. The entire dock staff was so fun and helpful. They gave us great recommendations on cool things to see and do and of course helped us get underway, moor and navigate safely in an unfamiliar harbor. The boat was perfect. Such a great club. Thanks for a great day on the coast of Maine.
