Carefree boat club is a well run, well organized operation.Boats are clean and kept in excellent shape. Nothing is worse than any issue that impacts a day of boating . Carefree is diligent about service and maintenance and we have enjoyed the benefits of their efforts.
Joined for one year. As a part of the membership, members pay a $30 monthly fee for 12 payments ($360 total) for access to the corporate reservation system. They never updated my membership status (as complete/not renewed), and as a result continued to charge me the $30 after the 12 payments had been made. They blamed it on recently updating the billing system, and that there were many other members who experienced the same issue of over overcharging.
