Care Free Boat Club lives up to its name. Paul and Patrick, dock master and gentleman on the dock who helps, were tremendous. My local home club is elsewhere, so this is a “reciprocal” reservation where they I never would’ve known I wasn’t at home. They helped answer numerous questions, gave me tips, provided us an extra cooler and Lilly pad to help us visiting Chicago make the most of our day on the water.
A great way to boat in Chicago without the hassle and costs of maintaining a boat!
We have been members of Carefree for 2 seasons now and it has been a great experience. The communication is excellent from dock staff to office team. The boats are top notch and well maintained, cleaned and readily available. The members night and customer service that Paul and the team provide are top notch and we would recommend anyone join the club if you want to enjoy boating without the headache of owning.
What a great experience being a Carefree member has been! One of the most exciting parts of moving to Chicago is enjoying the lake, and when you are new to town the best way to do that is to actually be on the water!! I was looking for a way to jump into Chicago Summers and Carefree was the answer. Affordable, extremely friendly staff and great boat selection it has truly made for an unbelievable experience
