ZERO STARS!!!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. CareFirst can't process their way out of a paper bag. I notified them that my deductible was incorrect in February. They said give it 30-45 days. Well, nothing changed. In May I realized that I had paid well over my deductible and started another series of calls. 3 months later I am still trying to get everything cleaned up and re-imbursed for the overages. Carefirst misplaced 2 of my monthly premium payments that my bank confirmed had been cashed on their end, and then while searching for them on their system and telling me all will be fine, continued to terminate my policy. This caused me two weeks with no coverage and all kinds of hassles linking back with the md health exchange getting coverage back. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! I’ve called there now 7 times to get the same issue resolved. Each person tells me to fill out a different form or contradicts what the others before them have said. Trying to get insurance for my newborn for two months now!
Signed up for medical coverage during open enrollment in December 2023. Received confirmation that my payment was processed via my bank account. My medical ID card arrived the second week of January 2024. However, when trying to access my on-line account, there is no record of my billing statement as well as a copy of the ID card itself. Do you morons even have the common decency to return a call? Received a claims letter today from a parent who died three years ago. Tried to contact toll free number- just kept receiving a message to leave a number for a call back. Did this at 1pm- now 6:30pm and no call back. Your company does not mind nickel and dimeing every claim but will not even answer the phone or call back. GREAT SERVICE :)
